Ken Marschall is best known as the world's foremost creator of Titanic artwork. Accomplished in photo-realistic rendering of anything from architecture to nature, it is Ken's splendid, evocative Titanic paintings that are his legacy. His minutely detailed portrayals of famous liners, naval vessels, airships and shipwrecks are admired for their realism, drama, historical accuracy, use of light and color, subtlety of detail and smoothness of line. Renowned for bringing Titanic back to life with his paintbrush, Ken's haunting portraits of the celebrated liner, often copied by others, are iconic images that have become part of Titanic's history itself.
This site, expanding in phases throughout 2010-11, will ultimately feature a vast catalog of Ken's diverse maritime and other paintings, a gallery of published covers, personal accounts of his dives to Titanic and other wrecks, FAQs, detailed biography and much more.
As the centennial of Titanic's maiden voyage approaches, we inaugurate this site by honoring Ken's most distinguished legacy––his Titanic paintings. Nowhere else is there a complete collection of this vast body of work spanning over four decades, several never before seen publicly, described in his own words. Licensing of images, purchasing original paintings and commissioning new art are all made easy through this site.
